Question:
How do vitamins and minerals work in our bodies?

Answer:
The key functions of nutrients like vitamins and minerals in the human body revolve around their serving the role as essential components in enzymes and coenzymes. Enzymes are molecules involved in speeding up chemical reactions necessary for human bodily function. Coenzymes are molecules that help the enzymes in their chemical reactions.

Most enzymes are composed of a protein along with an essential mineral and possibly a vitamin. If an enzyme is lacking the essential mineral or vitamin, it cannot function properly. Many enzymes also require additional support in order to perform their function. The support is in the form of a coenzyme, a molecule which functions along with the enzyme. Most coenzymes are composed of vitamins and/or minerals. Without the coenzyme, the enzyme is powerless.

In order to make sure that your enzymes and coenzymes have all the vitamins and minerals they need, I recommend taking a high potency multiple vitamin and mineral formula.

BodyBalance: MineralCheckMineralCheck is a safe, easy-to-use, and reliable screen that uses a small hair sample to measure your mineral and toxic metal levels. Hair samples show the long-term accumulation of minerals and heavy metals in your system. Hair is nourished from your bloodstream where minerals and toxics are found. This non-invasive and inexpensive screen provides you with the accuracy of a laboratory analysis without leaving the comfort of your own home. Exposure to heavy metals is linked to many different health conditions including high blood pressure, depression, attention deficit, disorder, and many neurological diseases. Even mild toxicity can lead to headache, fatigue, and impaired ability to think or concentrate.
