Question:
How do I know if my immune system is working properly? Is there a blood test I should get? I always seem to be catching a cold.

Answer:
Assessment of immune function is fairly straightforward. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, it is a sign that you need to focus some attention on enhancing immune function. Do you catch colds easily? Do you get more than 2 colds a year? Are you suffering from a chronic infection? Do you get frequent cold sores or have genital herpes? Are your lymph glands sore and swollen at times? Do you have now or ever had cancer?

There really isn’t any single magic bullet that can immediately restore immune function. Instead, a comprehensive approach involving lifestyle, stress management, exercise, diet, nutritional supplementation, glandular therapy, and the use of plant-based medicines is the best approach. Nutrient deficiency is the most frequent cause of low immune function.

BodyBalance: MineralCheckMineralCheck is a safe, easy-to-use, and reliable screen that uses a small hair sample to measure your mineral and toxic metal levels. Hair samples show the long-term accumulation of minerals and heavy metals in your system. Hair is nourished from your bloodstream where minerals and toxics are found. This non-invasive and inexpensive screen provides you with the accuracy of a laboratory analysis without leaving the comfort of your own home. Exposure to heavy metals is linked to many different health conditions including high blood pressure, depression, attention deficit, disorder, and many neurological diseases. Even mild toxicity can lead to headache, fatigue, and impaired ability to think or concentrate.
